Welcome to the West Midlands Technology Network ( WMTN). The WMTN helps eligible small to medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in the manufacturing, engineering and emerging sectors to use innovation to develop all areas of their business. So far we have assisted over 700 companies helping them to secure and create 2,178 jobs and over £73 million of new/safeguarded sales.
The WMTN works with both start-up and established SMEs to deliver practical help in product design and development through to business management and promotion. We provide free direct access to specialist skills, technology, knowledge and facilities within the region’s universities, colleges and technology centres.
In real terms, the WMTN can;

Assists businesses with a range of practical advice from the conception of a design to the marketing of the final product providing access to resources that would normally only be available to much larger organisations; |

Provides access to appropriate higher level accreditation awards including owner-management training, vocational training and technical training |
Allowing SMEs to compete and grow within tomorrow’s challenging business environment.
